What I hope to do in this section on love’s power to heal is to (1) show you God’s deep love for you and His desire to touch and heal your heart, and (2) help to guide you to the Father to receive the healing and freedom that we all deeply long for.

        God is calling out to His church today, saying, "Tear down the false walls of man and let the healing balm of Gilead and the pure water of the River of God bring healing to My people." That’s right: We are HIS people – you and I. Even though everything in our lives outside of Jesus must be crucified and killed, even though our hearts are so hard that they must be broken and we must be crushed and broken to pieces, even though we have hidden years of pain deep within our hearts behind deep walls and worn great big masks to hide our real selves from others, from ourselves, and even from God (if that were possible) – we are still His people – His children. We are His precious sons and daughters, the very ones that He loves so much that he bled and died for.

        We work to hide – He weeps, desiring to heal.

        We wear masks to impress and to hide – He already sees us as we really are… and continues to love us so much that He bled and died for us. No matter what you’ve ever done or what you may be going through there is…

• No pain or sickness that He cannot heal
• No problem that He cannot solve
• No thing that you have or will ever go through that He doesn’t see and desire to hold you in the midst of it all.
